My Personal Camera : Canon A75
3.2 Megapixels
5.4-16.2mm Lens (Standard)
Memory : 128MB NCP Compact Flash Card
Camelion Batteries (and Charger)
What i Like:
The HUGE display screen with the HIGH resolution.
The four different manual modes.
The weight that 4 batteries gives (added stability).
The fact that when im rich (or when i just have more money that i have now) i can get lenses. Dieing to get the macro lens and the telephoto.
What i Dont like:
The lack of a lense cover.
The lack of a persistant battery meter.
The lack of an external flash clip.
(This last one is my pet peeve with most 'budget' digital cameras, after all, how much would it cost to just add the clip dammit?
Borrowed Cameras : Nikon Coolpix 4300
Good camera in a better price bracket then my own, but there are certain things about this camera that i JUST DONT LIKE - for example focus time, lag
between the shot and the actual image, and the much smaller display screen (with a much lower resolution), and the fact that it does not use
standard batteries - which is a big negative especially for trekkers. That said, body is sturdier, lens cap is an advantage - and hey, its 4.3 MP :P
Nikon Coolpix 3200
Decent camera but i would much rather prefer my Canon over this especially because they are both in the same price bracket, lense is smaller and functionality
is much less, especially with regard to manual camera settings.
Crappy Point and Shoot (dont know which)
Dont blow them until youve tried them, some point and shoots have given me some amazing results
especially for landscape shots.
